Show Me Shortline's 10th year grain bagging.

All around the country farmers are getting ready for harvest, here in mid Missouri we are getting ready to harvest corn and soybeans mostly. Our storage is limited here, as it in in many other parts of the country, and we want to sell our corn when the time is right, not necessarily the day we harvest it or shortly after. Also, we don’t like all the extra required effort and expense it takes to store our grain in grain bins, ie: fans, insects, fuel back and forth to the bin. We like to bag our grain right in the field and know that it will be in an oxygen free environment until the day we take it out from the bag, we don’t have to run fans, we don’t have to drive back and forth to the grain bins, we don’t have to worry about insects in our grain. Using Richiger grain bagging systems will increase our profit as well, because we can store our grain rent free in our fields until we choose to sell it.

This is our 20th anniversary of Show Me Shortline, and around our 10th year selling Richiger grain baggers and using them on our farm, so we know grain bagging. We have specialists on hand to help first time Richiger baggers, and dealerships across the United States and Canada. We also provide Plastar grain bags to dealers and customers at great rates and exceptional mil thickness, as tested by the State of Missouri. So if you hear us talking a lot about grain bagging, its just because we know storage will be short this year, we have already seen wheat on the ground in places like Kansas, and we know how effective Richiger grain bagging can be for farmers- you can literally take back control of your grain and sell it when you want to. They call them grain “terminals” for a reason, that’s the last place you have control over your grain and you take what price they are offering. With grain bagging you don’t have to. Some people ask-but what if I don’t bag grain next season, now I have this grain bagger? Well the great thing about grain baggers are that unlike fixed grain bins, grain baggers are portable and can be turned around and sold. Although that’s an option, we think you will like the control Richiger baggers give you to store grain and it will be an asset to your farm for years to come.
