12/17/15 Lemken Rubin 12

Picture
Lemken Rubin 12 5 Meter.
In the picture to the left here you see ground in a plant able state. This picture was taken on a farm in Audrain County Missouri that had, for over 50 years, been continuous sod. This picture was taken after only 2 passes with the Lemken Rubin 12! 2 passes and the ground was in a plant able state. The Rubin 12 was needed because of conditioning variable soil and crop cover conditions that were present and the fact that we didnt want to use chemicals to break up the sod. So the Rubin 12 was our best bet at preparing the seed bed for planting and still being cost and time effective.
The Lemken Rubin 12 is the only machine on the market that would be able to completely turnover the crop with still allowing for a second pass. One reason is Lemken RubinҒs compound large angle/notched blade, with ܔ thickness. The Rubin is also easily adjustable for depth levelness and also speed. With a smooth blade you would not be able to turn sod under or shake dirt out of the roots like you can with the blades on the Lemken Rubin 12. With the compound blade and the size of the notches, you can transform the ground to the consistency you need. The baskets are superior in breaking apart dirt that can reconstitute the soil structure into a seed bed you can plant.
So if you are looking for a one pass tillage tool for normal ground or need to transform ground like we did in this picture with two passes, think of all the money you save in gas not passing numerous times over a field. Your time is valuable, and Lemken can help you get your time back.
